The Perfect Giant Chess Pieces are made from LDPE and Resin. LDPE is a type of durable plastic. The resin adds additional strength to the chess pieces and allows us to keep these pieces in the mold for far longer than the typical plastics used in manufacturing.
The Perfect Chess pieces are made in a rotational mold. This manufacturing technique allows us to use detailed molds, making the giant chess pieces stunningly attractive. While the typical plastic sets take 17 seconds per piece to make, the Perfect Chess Pieces rotate with the HDPE and resin blend for 24 hours before the piece is complete. This allows the blend to add multiple layers, making the pieces heavy and incredibly durable.
